The GM7009 32-bit 166 MHz FA510 embedded RISC processor is a cost-effective, low-power, and high performance
SoC solution targeting handheld devices and Internet appliance applications. GM also provides FA510-based media
lbrary like MP3/WMA/AAC/JPEG decoders to help customers implement their high performance media applications
in an ever competitive market. In conjunction with the system solution, GM provides pre-verified technologies and developing boards for customers to develop their unique SoCs within minimal turnaround time. The board is a virtual
development tool, providing necessary OS design kit and drivers to ease the software design efforts with lower entry
barriers; consequently, customers can substantially reduce the software and system development cost with a
significant saving ( 50% to 75% reduction) compared to to the non-platform alternative. |

Among the most popular applications, GM7009 addresses the Internet radio. With the in-house wireless LAN driver
and the support from Faraday Technology's media library, customers can easily complete the verification and software
development in one month. Not only 802.11b and 802, 11g are supported, the driver is also compatible with WPA
personal and WPAII personal standards. A complete certification flow is also available for customers to achieve the
